Hi, I’m Camila Cerda—a Chilean illustrator and print designer based in Santiago. Watercolor, botanicals and Japanese culture are the threads that run through everything I create.

I began my design journey at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, then earned a Master in Fashion Design from the Politecnico di Milano. Since then I’ve specialised in fashion illustration—particularly female portraits and botanical pieces—and in developing bespoke prints and seamless patterns inspired by flowers, birds and ukiyo‑e aesthetics.

My designs have appeared on garments for Zara (Woman, Girl, Baby, TRF), Topshop, Bershka, Mango, Orsay, and Claudie Pierlot. In the illustration realm, I collaborated with Chinese fashion label Xuege on their Summer 2019, Autumn 2020, and Summer 2021 collections. Editorial features include The Sewing Box Magazine, Swide.com (Dolce & Gabbana’s former blog), Reviste La Calle, Cranberry Chic, and Caras Magazine.

I’ve shared my process at international events such as Design Fest 2017 (Guadalajara, Mexico) and, more recently, in a 2020 online lecture for the design students of Universidad Mundo Maya (Villahermosa, Mexico).
Recently I worked as a textile designer at Rosen, where I developed custom print collections for bedding and sourced specialty fabrics for a variety of home design projects, including a recent baby collection.

Today I work as a freelance designer, creating illustrations, prints, and teaching watercolor workshops. I also develop a line of handmade accessories—including tote bags and pouches—and a growing collection of stationery products like notebooks and stickers, all featuring my original artwork.
If you’d like to collaborate or commission a project, let’s talk!
